We’re proud to share some great news from the Bryant’s Pump & Well Drilling Services team! Several of our team members have successfully passed the Florida State Water Well Contractor’s License examination—an important milestone that reflects their expertise, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

What This Means
A Florida Water Well Contractor’s License is required to legally drill, repair, modify, or abandon water wells anywhere in the state. Administered by Florida’s Water Management Districts under FDEP oversight, the license ensures contractors are knowledgeable about regulations, groundwater protection, and proper well construction practices. To qualify, applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, and pass a comprehensive exam with a score of 70% or higher.
This license is valid across all five Florida Water Management Districts and allows contractors to install, repair, and modify wells, pumps, and tanks. It must be renewed every two years with at least 12 hours of approved continuing education to stay current with industry standards and environmental regulations. Licensed contractors are also required to display their Florida Water Well Contractor’s License number on all drilling rigs and business vehicles, reinforcing transparency and regulatory compliance.
We congratulate Gary, Cody, and Jason on this achievement and are proud to have licensed professionals on our team who uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and groundwater protection for our customers and communities.
