Cody Barrs
Owner
In 2004, at just 18 years old, Cody passed the State of Florida plumbing examination and became a licensed Master Plumber—making him the youngest person in the state at the time to obtain a Master Plumbing License.
After taking the reins of family-owned and operated Barrs Plumbing, Inc., Cody has grown the company from a modest two-man operation into a 30+ employee powerhouse serving North Central Florida. His entrepreneurial vision has driven the company’s continued expansion, including the 2024 acquisition of A&B Well Drilling and Pump Services and Bryant's Pump and Well Drilling services in 2025.
These acquisitions marked an important step in expanding the company’s capabilities and providing well drilling, water well services, and pump repair directly to residential and commercial customers throughout the region.
Cody’s goal is to continue building a company that customers can rely on for quality workmanship, dependable service, and comprehensive solutions.
Whitney Barrs
Owner
Whitney brings a unique combination of healthcare experience, leadership, and people-focused management to the family of companies she operates alongside her husband, Cody Barrs. A registered nurse by trade, Whitney earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Florida before completing graduate school at Jacksonville University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Leadership and Administration.
Her background has shaped her strengths in communication, organization, leadership, and managing people—skills that have become invaluable in the day-to-day operations of the business.
Whitney works side-by-side with Cody in the daily management and operations of Barrs Plumbing, A&B Well Drilling and Pump Services, and Bryant’s Pump and Well Drilling Service. Together, they oversee a growing team dedicated to serving the water and plumbing needs of customers throughout North Central Florida.
Whitney is committed to helping build organizations that customers and employees can depend on—focusing on quality workmanship, dependable service, strong communication, and comprehensive solutions.
Jessica Kennedy
CAO
Jessica began her career with Barrs Plumbing in 2022 as the Office Manager, joining the company during an important period of growth. From the beginning, Jessica played a key role in establishing the office, building a strong administrative team, and streamlining procedures and systems that created greater efficiency and organization throughout the company. Her work helped create a solid foundation that allowed the owners to step back from the day-to-day administrative demands and focus more on growing the business.
Today, Jessica serves as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of The Barrs Incorporated Companies, overseeing the administrative, financial, and daily operational infrastructure for Barrs Plumbing, A&B Well Drilling & Pump Services, and Bryant’s Pump & Well Drilling Services.
Jessica works closely with the owners and management teams to align operational goals, provide clear and accurate data, strengthen internal processes, and ensure the company has the structure and support needed to make informed decisions quickly and confidently. She takes a hands-on approach to creating systems that improve accountability, efficiency, communication, and overall performance.
Through her leadership, organization, and commitment to continuous improvement, Jessica continues to help build the infrastructure that supports the long-term success and growth of The Barrs Incorporated Companies.
Jason Land
CEO
With more than 20 years of dedicated service to the Barrs Inc. companies, Jason brings extensive industry knowledge, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the company’s operations to his role as Chief Executive Officer.
Throughout his career, Jason has developed a strong background in plumbing operations, employee management, and organizational leadership. As CEO, he plays a key role in setting the strategic direction of the company, driving innovation, strengthening operational performance, and positioning all of the Barrs, Inc. Companies for continued growth and long-term success.
Known for his strategic mindset and results-driven leadership, Jason is committed to maintaining the high standards of quality, service, and professionalism that have built the Barrs Inc. reputation. His ability to lead and develop employees while identifying opportunities for improvement and growth continues to be instrumental in advancing the company’s mission and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the organization.
Cevin Hammock
Field Operations Manager
With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Cevin serves as Field Operations Manager, overseeing field operations for well drilling, well pump installation and repair, and water conditioning services. His extensive hands-on experience and industry knowledge allow him to effectively coordinate projects, support field teams, and ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
A strong team leader and skilled problem solver, Cevin works closely with builders, homeowners, contractors, and other trade professionals to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish. He is known for his ability to troubleshoot challenges, communicate effectively, and provide practical solutions while maintaining a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
Cevin is always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the task. His dependable nature, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever needed make him a valued leader and an important part of our team.
Outside of work, Cevin is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing games, and working on cars.
Allen Abshire
Office Manager
Allen has been a valued member of our company for over one year. His exceptional work ethic and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer service have made a significant impact on our team.
Allen enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle by frequenting the gym during his leisure time and Traveling to Explore.
Beyond their professional endeavors, Allen cherishes spending quality time with his family and friends whenever possible.
Kathy Bass
CSR/Dispatcher
For over 4 years, Kathy has brought her great work ethic and commitment to amazing customer service to our company, making her a truly valued team member. When she's not at work, you can find Kathy indulging her passions for traveling, cooking, shopping, and a good barbecue, all while cherishing time spent with her family.
Christopher Elderkin
Well Driller
Chris is a seven-year veteran, having advanced from Service to Driller—he's truly the team's go-to guy. He spends his free time hunting, fishing, and with family.
Billy Cox
Well Driller
Billy is an exceptional employee who has been with the company for over three years. He is a highly knowledgeable well driller and consistently demonstrates a very strong work ethic. Outside of work, he values time with his family and enjoys active hobbies like dirt biking and trail riding.
Charles Rogozinski
Service Technician
Charles has been with the company for five years, bringing a wealth of knowledge to his role and consistently ensuring projects are completed effectively. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid fisherman.
